Onoclea
Terrestrial, medium-sized ferns. Rhizomes long, creeping. Leaves arising singly, dimorphic; sterile fronds pinnatisect to 1-pinnate, rhachis winged, pinnae lobed, veins netted; fertile fronds shorter, erect, brown, 2-pinnate; sori covered by rolled margins of pinnae.

One species in North America and Asia; introduced and naturalised in Britain.
